We woke up on Sunday morning to hear the wind howling outside and when we got to Skegness rugby club it was blowing a gale across the pitch. Ebbie was keen to have a run out but we had to disappoint him and relegate him to waterboy again which he took with really good grace.

The game on Friday probably helped as we got the tactics right straight away, hard, direct running when we had the ball and forcing knock ons and turnovers when we didn't. Henry got the first score with a bullish run off a penalty. Jevan then nearly got clear and put a clever chip ahead in before getting tackled, Sam F won the resulting line out and Chu rumbled over the line. Huey got us moving forward again with a good kick return, Ameer provided the link and Henry ran in the score. Henry then got his CJ Stander-esque hat trick with another score from a tap penalty. Skegness were still in the game though but some monster tackles from Ameer and Chris stopped their big runners gaining any momentum. The final score of the half came when Sam R made a good break, Brandon got the ball up to the line and then Joe K span out of a tackle to score. Half time score was 27 - 0.

The first score of the second half came from some good support play that saw the ball go through a lot of hands before Ameer was able to score the try, leaving Brandon as the only squad member never to have scored a try. Liam then got a knock to his head and had to come off, Skegness also lost a player and Raoul did the decent thing and offered to play for them. Louis stole the ball at a line out and from a penalty a few phases on, Luke took a quick tap and got over the line before giving Brandon the score. Skegness then got their try from some loose play, the ball was kicked out of a ruck and they were able to get the touchdown in the corner. Having broken his try duck, nothing could now stop Brandon and after a break from Henry he sprinted down the wing to get his second of the game. Brandon was only stopped a few metres short of his hat trick but Will and Luke combined to get the score when the ball came back on our side. Chu got the final score after a good break by Sam F, the final score was 60 - 5.

Aryan and Cian drew in the final John Wayne of the tour. Man of the match went to Ameer for a great all round performance.
