Considering it was the first time many of the guys had heard of mixed ability, let alone played it, they were a credit to the club in keeping with the social ethos of the game. Many of the players on our team who are playing in their first season of contact rugby commented on what a physical game it was and how much they enjoyed the challenge. There was a great atmosphere in the clubhouse after the match, exactly what you look for in a Friday night fixture. Can’t wait for the return match!"
